Welcome!

We invite and welcome all to come to worship, to wonder, to learn, to pray, to play, to serve, to love, and to be loved.

We Are...
...the Church on Main Street where love begets love

We say it.  We mean it.  We act on that belief and see how it changes people's lives.  We are a diverse, thinking, and inclusive congregation, a life-giving sanctuary.  We are people of all ages, races, family structures, ethnicities, cultures, gender identities, sexual orientations, physical and mental abilities, and economic conditions.  We come from Millburn and many surrounding towns and have varied faith backgrounds.  Seekers, doubters, and believers find a comfortable place in our midst.  Through worship, informal discussions, classes, and opportunities to question, we grow and live more fully into our faith.

...an inclusive community

We believe each person is a unique part of God's creation.  We are a community called to worship God, to engage with today's issues, to give support and comfort to each other, and to minister to those in need within our community and beyond.  We strive to love our neighbors as ourselves and to respect the dignity of every person.  We practice time-honored kindnesses.  When someone is in need, we do what we can to help, even if all that we can do is be there for them. We come together to laugh and to question life's mysteries.  Newcomers receive a warm welcome and our doors are wide open.

...a vibrant community with an impact far beyond what our size would suggest

We challenge each other to live our faith through varied outreach and social justice ministries.  Besides helping each other discover our unique gifts, we create opportunities to use those talents to create a better, more loving world.  We have a passion for compassion.
